APC Moves To Strengthen Digital Membership Drive Through Grassroots Engagement

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has intensified efforts to bolster its digital membership registration drive, calling on state Party Secretaries to take a frontline role in mobilising supporters at all levels.

The renewed push reflects the party’s strategy to modernise its structures and deepen participation across the federation.

Speaking in Abuja during a train-the-trainer session, APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru—who represented the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda—urged state Secretaries to throw their full weight behind the ongoing E-registration rollout.

He emphasised that their support is crucial for seamless implementation across states, local government areas, and wards.

Senator Basiru called on the officials to not only strengthen the operational framework of the digital platform but also sensitise and mobilise members for mass participation, ensuring the party’s membership base is accurately captured and expanded.

The APC leadership says the E-registration project will enhance internal democracy, improve data management and boost engagement with party members nationwide.
