APC Disowns Circulating Timetable For 2025 Congresses, Labels It Fake
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed a purported timetable for its 2025 nationwide congresses currently circulating on social media, describing it as fake news.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka (CON), said the alleged “APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities” did not originate from the party and was never approved by its leadership.
Morka urged party members and the public to disregard the document in its entirety, warning against the spread of misinformation capable of causing confusion within the ranks of the ruling party.
“The purported Schedule of Activities for Congresses was neither made nor authorised by the Party, and should be disregarded as fake news,” the statement read.
The APC reaffirmed its commitment to transparent internal processes, assuring that any official timetable for congresses or conventions will be formally communicated through verified party channels.
