FRSC Reshuffles Senior Officers For Greater Efficiency

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced a major reshuffle of senior officers across the country in a bid to boost service delivery and strengthen road safety management.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed approved the redeployment, which affects a new Corps Secretary, four Assistant Corps Marshals (ACM) in strategic positions, several Sector Commanders, and 61 other senior officers in key formations nationwide.

Among the top changes, ACM G. Ntukidem has been appointed Corps Secretary at the FRSC headquarters, Abuja, while ACM J.W. Toby takes over as Zonal Commanding Officer in Osogbo.

The shake-up also saw ACM I. Abubakar return to headquarters as ACM Policy, with ACM A.M. Hassan and ACM A. Sanusi assuming leadership roles in Technical Services and Man Power Development respectively.

At the state level, new postings include CC J.N. Alexander moving from Anambra to Delta, CC Y.T. Etuku from Kebbi to Kogi, and CC B. Asekhauno taking charge in Anambra.

Other redeployments affected commands in Bauchi, Kebbi, Yobe and Abia.

The Corps Marshal said the exercise was designed to inject fresh vigour into the system, improve operational efficiency, and consolidate the Corps’ mandate of achieving safer roads.

He urged the newly deployed officers to justify the trust placed in them while calling on motorists to cooperate with the new leadership to ensure safer highways.
