NCDC advised Nigerians to:
Wash hands regularly with soap and water or use hand sanitisers.
Avoid contact with anyone showing fever, vomiting, or unexplained bleeding.
Refrain from touching the body fluids of sick persons.
Stay away from raw or undercooked bushmeat.
Closely monitor their health if they recently travelled to or from affected areas and seek medical help immediately if symptoms develop.
