CCAN Congratulates New Police Spokesperson, CSP Hundeyin
The Crime Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CCAN), Abuja Chapter, has congratulated Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Benjamin Hundeyin on his appointment as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun.
In a statement signed by Chairman Sam Ogbeifun and Secretary General Babatunde Ayeni, CCAN described Hundeyin’s elevation as a reward for his professionalism, diligence, and commitment to effective communication within the Nigeria Police Force.
The association noted his track record in fostering trust, transparency and mutual understanding between the police and the public, expressing confidence that his experience and background will further strengthen police-media relations.
While pledging its continued support, CCAN urged the new police spokesperson to deepen openness, inclusivity, and timely engagement with journalists to enhance credible policing and public confidence.
The association prayed for wisdom and guidance for CSP Hundeyin as he takes on the new role.
