Tinubu Reinstates NTA Boss, Reverses Fresh Appointments
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reinstated Mr Salihu Abdullahi Dembos as Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), just days after management changes briefly unseated him.
Dembos, first appointed in October 2023, will now continue his three-year tenure.
Also recalled is Mr Ayo Adewuyi, the Executive Director of News, who will serve out his term until 2027, following his appointment in 2024.
The President’s directive effectively sets aside recent appointments of a new director-general, executive director of news, executive director of marketing, and managing director of NTA Enterprises.
