EFCC Nabs 37 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Taraba
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters in Wukari, Taraba State.
Operatives of the Commission’s Makurdi Zonal Directorate carried out the operation on Wednesday, 27 August 2027, following credible intelligence. The suspects were apprehended behind the Federal University, Wukari, over alleged involvement in cybercrimes.
According to the EFCC, items recovered from the suspects include two cars, 12 laptops, and 46 mobile phones.
The Commission confirmed that the suspects will be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
