Abuja Gears Up for2 West Africa Economic Summit 2025: Uniting The Region For Shared Prosperity

Abuja is set to welcome top leaders, investors, and innovators from across the region as the West Africa Economic Summit (WAES) 2025 takes centre stage from 20th to 21st June at the International Conference Centre.

Backed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidency, the summit promises to be a game-changer, with this year’s theme — “Unlocking Trade and Investment Opportunities in the Region” — setting the tone for bold conversations and action-oriented outcomes.

Described as West Africa’s premier platform for economic transformation, WAES will focus on turning shared challenges into collective gains, driving sustainable growth through collaboration, innovation, and strategic partnerships.

With the rallying call “One Region. One Vision. One Future,” the summit aims to shape a West Africa that is economically united, self-reliant, and globally competitive.

Interested participants are encouraged to register now via www.waes2025.org and follow updates across WAES and Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ social media platforms.

The future of West Africa is being shaped — and it starts in Abuja.
