Eid-el-Kabir: Ganduje Celebrates With Muslims, Calls For Sacrifice, Compassion

As Muslims across Nigeria and around the world mark Eid-el-Kabir, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has sent warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah, urging them to uphold the values of sacrifice, charity, and unity.

In a message shared by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Dr Ganduje described the festival as a powerful reminder of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and obedience to Allah’s command — a lesson, he said, that resonates deeply with the challenges of today.

“As we celebrate this sacred occasion, let us reflect on its essence — sacrifice, obedience, and generosity,” he said. “This is a time to show love to our neighbours, lend support to the less privileged, and foster peace in our communities.”

The APC Chairman also encouraged Nigerians to remain prayerful and united, especially as the country continues its journey toward economic recovery under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

He expressed hope that the faithful’s sacrifices and prayers will be accepted and wished all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration.
