Eid-el-Kabir: APC Greets Nigerians, Urges Unity, Compassion
As Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah, calling for renewed faith, unity, and compassion among citizens.
In a goodwill message signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC reflected on the deep significance of the festival, which honours Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience and willingness to sacrifice for the sake of Almighty Allah.
“Eid-el-Kabir reminds us of the enduring values of faith, sacrifice, and devotion,” the statement read. “These are the very virtues that guide our spiritual and communal lives.”
The party encouraged Muslims to use the occasion to pray for Nigeria’s peace, unity, and prosperity, while also remembering the less fortunate.
“In the spirit of the season, let us reach out with kindness and generosity to those in need,” the APC urged.
With a warm Barka da Sallah, the party wished all Nigerians a peaceful and joyous celebration.
