Soludo Mourns Late Patriarch Of APGA National Chairman

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has expressed heartfelt condolences following the death of Chief Sir Sylvester Chukwudozie Ezeokenwa (Ezeudo-Umuchu), father of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa Jr.

In a statement signed by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo described the late Chief Ezeokenwa, who passed on Thursday, 15th May 2025, as a respected community leader, seasoned political figure, and one of the pioneering officers of APGA in the state.

He hailed the deceased’s unwavering commitment to grassroots mobilisation and his pivotal role in strengthening the party’s progressive ideals.

“The values of service and leadership he upheld are evident in the work of his son, the current APGA national chairman, and will be remembered by Ndi Anambra and the wider APGA family,” Soludo said.

The Governor offered prayers for the peaceful repose of Chief Ezeokenwa’s soul and comfort for the grieving family.
