Pate Salutes Nigerian Professor Elected Vice-President At UK’s Royal College of Radiologists

The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has congratulated Professor Amaka Offiah on her election as Vice-President, Clinical Radiology, at the Royal College of Radiologists in the United Kingdom.

In a statement from the Coordinating Minister, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, the Ministry described her achievement as a proud moment for Nigeria, celebrating her as a symbol of excellence and resilience among Nigerian professionals in the diaspora.

Professor Offiah’s appointment is seen as a bridge for deeper collaboration and innovation between Nigeria and the UK, with hopes that her new role will strengthen academic and clinical ties while contributing to the ongoing transformation of Nigeria’s health sector.

“We are proud of Professor Offiah and look forward to working more closely with diaspora experts committed to building a healthier Nigeria,” the Minister said.
