FRSC Secures ISO 9001:2015 Recertification For The Fourth Time
In a remarkable show of consistency and commitment to global best practices, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has once again been recertified for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standards in Road Safety Administration and Traffic Management.
This marks the fourth consecutive recertification for the Corps, following a successful audit of its processes by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON).
The recertification reaffirms FRSC’s adherence to internationally recognised standards in service delivery and operational excellence.
Originally certified in 2013 under ISO 9001:2008, the Corps transitioned to the updated ISO 9001:2015 in 2016 and has since maintained its certification through audits in 2019, 2022, and now in 2025.
Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, celebrating the feat, described it as a significant milestone. “As the first and only law enforcement agency in Africa to attain this level of certification, it reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence and professionalism,” he said.
He praised the collective efforts of the FRSC workforce, noting that the achievement is a testament to well-coordinated systems and dedication to quality service delivery.
The Corps Marshal, further assured road users of the Corps’ continued focus on productivity and professionalism in sustaining the certification.
