NAF Delivers On Promises To Zamfara Airstrike Victims

In a show of compassion and accountability, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has fulfilled all commitments made to victims of the tragic 11th January 2025 airstrike in Dangebe Village, Maradun LGA, Zamfara State.

Following the incident, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, had visited the affected community in March, promising support to ease the suffering of survivors and families of the deceased.

Today, those promises have become reality.

A damaged building has been rebuilt, two motorcycles replaced, and a borehole providing clean water has been constructed in nearby Kambarawa Village.

Financial support has also been fully disbursed to affected families.

Grateful residents have praised the NAF for its sincerity and swift action.

Community leaders described the intervention as a beacon of hope and healing, commending the military’s effort to rebuild trust through concrete action.

The NAF says it remains committed to protecting civilians and strengthening civil-military relations through empathy, professionalism, and respect for human dignity.
