NSIPA Boss Urges Embrace Of Technology In Social Empowerment Drive

The National Coordinator and CEO of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), Associate Professor Badamasi Lawal, has called on staff of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) to harness digital tools for more impactful service delivery.
Speaking at a three-day training workshop in Abuja, themed “Improving Beneficiary Outcomes with Digital Solutions”, Prof. Lawal emphasised the role of innovation in driving inclusive development, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“This training is not just about tools, but about transforming lives. Every figure on the GEEP Dashboard represents a real person counting on us,” he said.
He highlighted GEEP’s mission to empower petty traders, artisans, smallholder farmers, women, and youth, urging participants to embrace the agency’s digital shift for better transparency and efficiency.
Acting Head of GEEP, Mrs. Ifeoma Chukwumbah, reaffirmed the programme’s impact through initiatives like TraderMoni and MarketMoni, stressing the importance of data in enhancing decision-making and service delivery.
The training was held in collaboration with Frontier Systems Limited at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja.
