IGP, NOA DG Partner to Promote Patriotism and National Values

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. Kayode Egbetokun, has reaffirmed the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to fostering patriotism and volunteerism among citizens.
He made this pledge while hosting the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, on a courtesy visit to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting focused on strengthening national values, with the NOA seeking police collaboration in unveiling the National Values Charter—a framework aimed at promoting integrity, civic responsibility, and unity among Nigerians.
IGP Egbetokun commended the NOA’s efforts, assuring full police support in raising public awareness on national values and security consciousness.
He stressed that fostering patriotism is key to national cohesion and development.
The Nigeria Police Force and NOA will work together on initiatives that encourage citizens to uphold ethical standards and contribute to Nigeria’s progress.
