NTAC Partners With DICAN To Enhance Nigeria’s Global Image

The Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to boosting Nigeria’s image internationally through strategic partnerships.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the Diplomatic Correspondents Association of Nigeria (DICAN) in Abuja, Buba emphasised NTAC’s role in exporting technical expertise to 35 African, Caribbean, and Pacific nations.
He highlighted the Corps’ impact, including training individuals who have risen to ministerial positions abroad.
Buba assured DICAN of NTAC’s readiness to collaborate, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 4Ds foreign policy—Democracy, Development, Demography, and Diaspora—championed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar.
DICAN’s Chairman, Mr. Idehai Frederick, described the association as a key player in Nigeria’s diplomatic affairs, covering foreign missions, embassies, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He reaffirmed DICAN’s dedication to supporting NTAC’s initiatives and strengthening Nigeria’s diplomatic engagement.
The partnership aims to enhance Nigeria’s global standing through media advocacy and technical cooperation.
