The Nigeria Police Force says it is set to bolster its ranks with the graduation of 10,000 recruit constables from various training institutions nationwide.

The passing-out parade, slated for Thursday, January 23, 2025, will take place across four police colleges and 12 training schools, with the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, presiding over the ceremonies.

The recruits, having completed rigorous physical and mental training, are equipped to tackle Nigeria’s evolving security challenges while upholding the rule of law.

The IGP expressed optimism that the new officers will exemplify professionalism, integrity, and dedication, strengthening the Force’s reputation.

Following their deployment to state commands, the constables are expected to enhance local policing efforts, improve community relations, and contribute to public safety.

This development underscores the Police Force’s commitment to addressing crime and fostering trust between law enforcement and the public.
