The Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) President, Dr. Elizabeth Egbetokun, has called for greater unity, goodwill, and growth in the nation during the POWA Annual Convention held at the POWA National Secretariat, Mambila Barracks, Abuja.

The three-day convention, which ran from December 5 to 7, 2024, highlighted the Association’s commitment to empowering police families and beyond.

Dr. Egbetokun celebrated the recent graduation of 110 participants from the POWA Skills Acquisition Centre in Dei-Dei, Abuja, a milestone following POWA’s impactful 60th anniversary.

She reiterated POWA’s dedication to fostering education, skill development, and welfare for police families while encouraging the broader community to join future empowerment initiatives. “Through goodwill and unity, we can create a society that nurtures growth and prosperity for all,” she emphasised.

POWA remains steadfast in its mission to uplift women and children, driving impactful change across communities.
