IKORO OKE OVORO, an association of men and women of proven integrity, is not new. IKORO OKE OVORO is the unifying, seminal sociopolitical organization of the Oke Ovoro Clan in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.
The association was formed in or about 2005, and is now reinvigorated to:
(1) Project and defend the collective interests of Oke Ovoro people in all spheres of influence.
(2) Celebrate the cultural heritage of Oke Clan.
(3) Advance the pioneering intellectual legacy of Oke Ovoro sons and daughters.
(4) Support, where feasible and helpful, the people-oriented political aspirations of the sons and daughters of Oke Ovoro Clan.
(5) Foster unity among the communities that make up the Oke Ovoro clan.
(6) Work at ensuring equity and fairness in the collective affairs of the Oke Ovoro clan.
(7) Help harness and develop talents amongst the young people of Oke Ovoro Clan.
The steering committee of IKORO OKE OVORO invites you to a general meeting of this great and historic organization. We seek to have this interactive meeting with you on Monday, December 30, 2024.
The meeting will be hosted by Dr. Ugorji Okechukwu Ugorji, the pride of the Mbaise nation. He will host the festive season’s gathering at Orji Ukwu Estate, Lorji, starting at 12 Noon prompt.
