The leading aspirant for Nwangele Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Chief Eze Ezekiel Chukwukere(the Ogbuhereuzo 1 of Amaigbo) and the members of his Campaign council Organization, Congratulate His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma over the Supreme court judgment that has now affirmed his re-election as the Governor of Imo State.
Hon. Ezekiel Chukwukere joyfully hinted his messages of felicitation for Governor Uzodimma during a Press Release at his Campaign Office in Nwangele LGA, last Saturday 24th August.
In the release, Hon. Chukwukere told newsmen that the Supreme Court’s verdict concerning the Imo Gubernatorial election of November 11th, 2023, is an eloquent testimony that the INEC Returning Officer for that election, Professor Abayomi Fashima was very correct in stating the fact that Governor Hope Uzodimma actually won the election in all the 27 LGAs of Imo State with a sweeping number of 540, 308 votes. Also in his words, Hon. Chukwukere stated, ” that this Supreme court land mark judgment on the two separate appeals by the Labour Party and People’s Democratic Party Candidates, rekindles our hope and believe that , in Nigeria, the rule of law, pre-supposes justice according to the law and not according to the whims and caprices of any individual. ” It is a shield and a fortress against oppression and any form of intimidation.
He further stated that the Governor’s re-election for the second term cum the affirmation by the supreme court on the 23rd of August, is an indicative of an astute leader, whose passion to deliver good governance to the people, motive and enable others to contribute maximally to the effective and seamless administration of the state, is legendary.
While appealing on the need for the oppositIon parties to embrace Governor Uzodimma’s administration, he humbly prayed that God will continue to uphold Governor Uzodimma in good health, as well, bestow him with the wisdom to sustain the purposeful and selfless leadership he is providing for the good people of Imo.
