In a bid to enhance effective learning process in primary and secondary schools, two illustrious sons of the State have launched an easy academic learning device known as Classmigo to ease the difficulties encountered by students while engaging in academic exercise.
The event, took place at Rock view hotel to the amazement of guests who watched in admirations as the academic device was unveiled.
Commending the inventors, Mendel Chinedu Chimezie and John Ihejieto the H.O.D Imo State Ministry of Labour, Employment and Productivity Mrs. Olivia Ukamaka Umeh said that the duo have introduced into the educational sector a new method of learning process by breaking the barrier of stereotype of learning as currently witnessed in schools.
She said that the educational sector as a problem solving entity is dynamic in nature as it addresses critical issues bothering on human developments.
Mrs.Umeh observed that the academic sector is always engaging in constant mental exercise to deal with challenging issues that affect the human race, maintaining that the launching of the Classmigo is part of solving academic problems that associate with learning process of different individuals.
” We need to do more of academic innovation that will help the educational sector in finding solutions to myriads of challenging the people.when a Nation encounters problem, it will be thrown to the academic environment for critical analysis that will end up in finding solutions to the problem.Education brings out the best of every individual and there is need for the academia to collaborate with Government for all round development ” she said.
The H.O.D. pointed out that with the introduction of the new method of learning process that students will no longer find it difficult coping with their studies as it has opened the door for easy learning.
In his address, the Chief inventor of the learning application, Mr.Mendel said that he was moved to introduce the new learning process because of the difficulties many students encounter while engaging in academic exercise.
He said that people are wired differently and cannot reason the same way, observing that there are fast and slow learners but with the introduction of Classmigo that every student can learn at his or her own pace without any encumbrance.
He pointed out that with the new learning method that it is no longer necessary for students to wait for their teachers as they can learn from the comfort of their homes without going to classroom.
The chief inventor further said that they are working with the ministry of education to be in tune with the current academic curriculum.
John Ihejieto , the operating officer of the application said that the device covers all primary and secondary schools subjects and adapts to the learning behavior of each student.
He noted that the good thing about the device is that it will reduce the risk of students been kidnapped and also provide the opportunity for parents to know the real mental capacity of their wards as the device can never be manipulated.
Ihejieto further said that the application can be downloaded in every android phone, computers and other social apps
The highpoints of the event was the questions and answers section and official unveiling of the new learning device (Classmigo) and its practical demonstration.
Among those that witnessed the event included the Special Adviser to the State governor on Education Intervention, Esther Ukachukwu, Rev. Fr. Simon Ogwo, team members, partners and others.
