Corps Marshal, Mohammed Tasks Personnel On Healthy Lifestyle

Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, has urged personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps, to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prioritise their wellness as it is a prerogative for optimal performance.
The Corps Marshal, who made the call during the August, 2024 walk and jog exercise of the Corps that held nationwide, said, in view of the envisioned increase in human and vehicular movement during the ember months there is need to tackle all traffic infractions head-on.
A statement by the Corps Commander
Corps Public Education Officer FRSC Headquarters Abuja, Olusegun Ogungbemide, quoted the Corps Marshal, as saying that the Federal Road Safety Corps recognises the critical role that health plays in overall productivity and quality of life of all FRSC personnel, hence it launched a comprehensive health and wellness initiative that will help personnel live up to expectation.
He added that the initiative was brought to limelight because the Corps is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its staff, as they work tirelessly to promote safety across the nation’s highways.
Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed urged them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits, exercise regularly, eat balanced nutrition, manage stress, and have adequate rest.
He said that by prioritising health and wellness, they can improve productivity, reduce absenteeism, and enhance overall job satisfaction for better service delivery.
