The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Imo State, Hon. Mrs. Rubby Emele, has bagged the Best Imo Commissioner award.
The award was presented to her by Hero Express newspapers in recognition of her hard work, dedication to duty and effective management of the Ministry, as the Ministry under her watch, was rated by renowned social analysts as the most organized and viable in the State.
Presenting the award, the Publisher of Hero Express, Mr. Leonard Ajokubi, said that Mrs. Emele deserved the award, considering her antecedents and performance, stating that her open door policy is second to none.
The Hero Express boss said that before selecting Emele for recognition, the Management of the newspaper digged deep into her activities from Special Adviser to Commissioner, and found out that among all the Commissioners and Special Advisers serving in the Shared Prosperity government, she is the best in terms of performance.
He therefore submitted that the award was in recognition of her performance and effective leadership
Responding shortly after receiving the award in her office, State Secretariat, Owerri, Mrs. Emele expressed gratitude to the management and staff of the Hero Express Newspaper and thanked governor Uzodimma who provided her the platform to showcase the talent God bestowed on her.
Mrs. Emele said that the recognition would encourage her to do more good things in the Ministry.
She used the opportunity to thanked Imo people for voting governor Uzodimma for the second term, adding that they will not regret their decision, as the governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, is prepared to do more positive changes in the State.
