The President of Nigeria Union Local Government Employees,NULGE Imo State chapter Comrade Richard Eze has declared total support of the Local Governments workers for Governor Hope Uzodimma’s re-election bid.
Speaking during Imo Stakeholders meeting held at Rockview Hotel in Owerri over the weekend, Comrade Eze commended Governor Uzodimma for prioritizing the workers’ welfare insisting that Imo workers will reciprocate the Governor’s kind gestures at the polling units come November 11th,2023 gubernatorial election.
He thanked the Governor for providing free shuttle buses to ease Transformation challenge of the workers.
“We are also commending the Governor for announcer #40,000 minimum wage for Imo workers today and ever grateful to him over his numerous palliatives for the workers”,he added.
The NULGE President recalled the achievements of the Governor to include payment of workers salaries as at when due, rehabilitation and reconstruction of quality roads among other laudable achievements.
