Residents of Dangbana in Jikwoyi phase two, Abuja Municipal Area Council, have sent a save our soul message to relevant authorities to assist them evacuate corpses of yet to be identified persons.
The two young men according to eye witnesses were killed by okada riders who chased them to the area around 8pm yesterday after allegedly stabbing and stealing a bike from one of their members at Mararaba, Sharp corner.
Reports has it that one of them escaped with the stolen motorcycle but the unfortunate duo died from the severee beating from the disgruntled okada riders who mobilised to seek justice for one of their own.
A resident, Siasia Thomas, said they have reported the incident to Jikwoyi Police station and are waiting for their intervention before the corpses decompose owing to the sun.
He lamented that if the bodies are not removed as soon as possible, it will cause a lot of health hazards for them and their families especially pregnant women and children.
The residents expressed fears that police may decide to make arrests of people living around the area whereas they neither know the boys or their killers.
For Mrs Sarah Okoma, whatever happened, the bodies should be removed because it is beginning to scare children of the area and most likely to lead to various health challenges.
She asked parents especially mothers to always monitor the affairs of their children and the type of friends they keep so as to know when they are led astray.
