DSS Reacts To US Security Advisory

The Department of State Services, DSS, has asked the populace to remain calm and alert to threats and suspicious criminal acts around them.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer Department of State Services National Headquarters Abuja, Dr. Peter Afunanya, said the DSS had received several enquiries relating to the security advisory issued by the US Embassy in Abuja.
The statement recalled that the Service had variously issued similar warnings in the past and advised that necessary precautions be taken by all and sundry.
It enjoined the populace to remain calm, and alert so as to assist security agencies with useful information regarding threats and suspicious criminal acts around them.
The service assured it is working with other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders to maintain peace and order in and beyond Abuja.
