2023: OPI sets to deliver for Asiwaju/Shettima, inaugurates think tank exco.

Ahead of 2023 general elections the umbrella body of Igbo Kwenu 4 Asiwaju known as Omaluegwuoku Progressive Initiative (OPI) has continued to show its commitment towards the victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima at the polls.
This was again demonstrated during the auspicious occasion and an epoch-making event held at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, on Sunday 16th October where the group inaugurated her think tank executives.
The event was graced by notable sons and daughters of the Igbo race, including the first female presidential aspirant of the APC, and Vice Chairman of the PCC, Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye who visited to give her support.
Barr. Uju assured the President and Convener of the OPI, Amb. Hon. Ginika Tor of her unalloyed support towards the realization of the success of the OPI and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ Shettima come 2023.
She lauded the effort of the Omaluegwuoku Progressive Initiative and described it as selfless, ingenuous and commendable.
” It is a notable mark that you have made and I am very proud of you”, she said.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Secretary of the Group, Dr. Emmanuel Ogbonna, described the drive of the group as a force to be reckoned with in this political dispensation, saying they have recorded tremendous successes so far and support both from notable Igbo sons, institutions and individuals.
He also pointed out that the OPI has made in- roads in its drive towards promoting the candidacy of Asiwaju and Shettima. Many people are joining the train and giving their support in different forms.
Highlight of the occasion was the inauguration of the Group’s think tank executives performed by Amb. Hon. Ginika Tor, who charged the members to work assiduously and tirelessly towards reaching their goal.
She, thanked them for presenting themselves to be used in this capacity, saying their contributions will not be in vain or taken for granted.
The Son of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu also graced the meeting.
He appreciated the progress of works on ground and assured them of his support.
