There is heightened tension as the Chief John Oyegun-led ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential screening committee submits report at the party’s National Secretariat.
Chairman of the committee, Chief John Oyegun, while submitting the report to the national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, said 13 out of 23 aspirants screened to contest the party’s ticket were cleared.
The Chairman of the presidential Screening committee, who is a former national chairman of APC, also confirmed that his Committee did not screen the former President Goodluck Jonathan, contrary to speculations.
Oyegun, who just submitted the reports of the screening exercise where 10 aspirants were disqualified, said Jonathan was not on the list of aspirants attended to.
