Ufomba Re-elected FCTA Chapel Chairman, NAWOJ FCT Commends Victory
The re-election of Comrade Ngozi Uloma Ufomba as Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Administration Chapel, has been described as a vote of confidence in her leadership and record of service.
In a congratulatory message, Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), FCT, Bassey Ita Ikpang, said Ufomba’s first-term achievements, commitment to members’ welfare and professionalism contributed to her return for a second tenure.
Ikpang expressed confidence that Ufomba would build on her previous achievements and provide inclusive, transparent and accountable leadership while advancing the professional interests of Chapel members.
NAWOJ FCT also congratulated other female journalists who emerged victorious in the election, describing their successes as a source of encouragement to women journalists.
The association urged the newly elected leaders to sustain their contributions to the growth of the Chapel and the journalism profession.
Ikpang wished the new leadership a successful tenure marked by unity, progress, professionalism and improved welfare for members.
