Nigeria’s Ambassador-Designate To Mali Receives Letters Of Credence, Set For Bamako Posting
Nigeria has taken another step in strengthening its diplomatic engagement in the Sahel with the formal presentation of Letters of Credence to its Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Mali, Dr Geoffrey Ijomah David Chima.
The Letters of Credence were presented by the Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Babagana Wakil, on behalf of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, who is currently on an official trip abroad.
The presentation officially clears the way for Dr Chima to assume his diplomatic assignment in Bamako, where he is expected to advance Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives and the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, while strengthening bilateral relations with Mali.
