As Nigeria continues its push for a more reliable electricity supply, collaboration between key stakeholders remains crucial to strengthening the national grid and improving power sector performance.

The management of the Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO), led by its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Engr. The meeting focused on national grid operations, ongoing power sector reforms, and the Federal Government’s commitment to supporting NISO in delivering its mandate.

Discussions also centred on enhancing grid reliability, operational efficiency, transparency, and system stability across the electricity industry.

Mr. Babalola stressed the need for prudent resource management, stronger operational discipline, and sustained efforts to reduce system disturbances, describing NISO as a critical institution in building a more resilient and efficient power sector.

Responding, Engr. Mohammed reaffirmed NISO’s commitment to operational excellence and improved grid reliability, pledging the organisation’s full support towards achieving a sustainable and robust electricity supply industry.
