Eid-el-Kabir: RATTAWU President Calls For Unity, Patriotism Among Nigerians
As Muslims across Nigeria mark Eid-el-Kabir, the President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU), Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu, has urged Nigerians to embrace the values of sacrifice, peace and national unity in the interest of the country’s progress.
In his Eid message, Kalu described the festival as a period of reflection, compassion and renewed commitment to nation-building, calling on citizens to promote tolerance and harmonious coexistence regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
The RATTAWU President also appealed to Nigerians to continue praying for lasting peace, economic prosperity and stability in the country.
Addressing workers in the media, arts and culture sector, he encouraged them to remain professional and patriotic in the discharge of their duties, especially in promoting responsible information dissemination and national unity.
Speaking on behalf of the union’s Central Working Committee, National Executive Council and members nationwide, Kalu wished Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
