APC e-Registration Drive Crosses 2 Million Members Nationwide
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has crossed a major digital milestone, recording over two million verified members just weeks after launching its nationwide e-membership registration exercise, an early signal of growing grassroots engagement within the ruling party.
The figure was disclosed on Monday in Abuja by the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, after a strategic meeting involving National Chairman Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, members of the National Working Committee (NWC), and state coordinators supervising the exercise across the country.
Basiru described the digital registration drive as a critical step toward modernising the party’s internal processes, noting that it will enhance transparency, credibility, and operational efficiency.
He added that the party is targeting the complete digital registration of all members nationwide before the end of January 2026.
According to him, the exercise is not just about numbers but about building a credible, verifiable membership database that will strengthen party administration and planning ahead of future electoral engagements.
With over two million members already captured, party leaders say the momentum reflects strong acceptance of the digital process and renewed enthusiasm among APC supporters nationwide.
