Blessing Of Mater Ecclesiae Chancery, Aguleri

Ahead of the Diocesan Pastoral Council meeting, a special gathering was held at Fr. Joseph’s Complex, where the Bishop of Aguleri, Most Rev. Denis Isizoh, joined by priests and lay faithful, blessed the newly established chancery of the Catholic Diocese of Aguleri.
In his remarks, the Bishop announced that the entire complex will henceforth be known as St. Joseph’s Pastoral Centre.
He further stated that the newly inaugurated chancery is named Mater Ecclesiae Chancery, placing the administrative life of the diocese under the patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church.
Bishop Isizoh also emphasised that the administration of the chancery falls under the responsibility of the Diocesan Chancellor.
Before cutting the ribbon and blessing the facility with holy water, the Bishop expressed his gratitude to the priests and lay faithful of the Diocese of Aguleri for their unwavering support.
