Tragedy Strikes Senator Abba Moro: Loses Son and Grandson Within 48 Hours
In a heartbreaking turn of events, Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, has been plunged into deep mourning following the sudden deaths of his son and grandson within just 48 hours.
Sources close to the family revealed that the senator’s son reportedly died after a brief illness, leaving relatives and friends in shock.
Barely two days later, tragedy struck again when the late son’s child also passed away, compounding the family’s grief.
The dual tragedy has thrown the lawmaker’s hometown in Benue State into mourning, with sympathisers trooping in to commiserate with the bereaved family.
Senator Moro, who represents Benue South Senatorial District, is yet to make an official statement. Still condolences have continued to pour in from colleagues in the National Assembly and political associates across the country.
