Zambian President Hichilema Pays Condolence Visit To Nigerian High Commission In Lusaka
The President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, today visited the Nigerian High Commission in Lusaka to sign the book of condolence in honour of Nigeria’s departed statesman.
President Hichilema was warmly received by Nigeria’s Chargé d’Affaires, Mrs Chinyere A. Epelle, alongside officials of the Mission.
In a solemn atmosphere, the Zambian leader expressed heartfelt sympathies to the Government and people of Nigeria over the loss.
Accompanying him were Zambia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Mulambo Haimbe; the Permanent Secretary for International Relations and Cooperation, H.E. Mrs Etambuyu Gundersen; and the Chief of Protocol, H.E. Mrs Cheswa Silwizya.
The visit underscores the strong ties and shared values between Zambia and Nigeria, especially in times of grief and solidarity.
