Residents of Idemili North and South Federal Constituency have been urged to take advantage of the ongoing registration for the National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP), a federal government initiative focused on empowering youths, women, and small business owners.

According to a statement from the Media Office of Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, the programme offers free vocational training, interest-free micro-loans of up to ₦100,000 for SMEs, and tailored business support to help beneficiaries grow and sustain their ventures.

Hon. Okonkwo, who represents the constituency in the House of Representatives, is encouraging constituents to register online via the official NAPEP portal: https://napep-gov.ng/signup, and take advantage of the initiative designed to tackle poverty at the grassroots level.

Applicants are required to provide a valid NIN, passport photograph, proof of local government identification, and for business owners; evidence of existing operations such as CAC documents or a trade ID.

“This is a golden opportunity for our people to gain new skills, grow their businesses, and secure a better future. I encourage all eligible constituents to key into it,” the statement added.
