No Room For Distractions: President Tinubu Stays Focused On Delivering Reform …Idris
Amid growing political chatter and speculation surrounding the 2027 general elections, the Federal Government has made it clear: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains firmly focused on delivering on his mandate of bold reforms and real economic transformation for Nigerians.
A statement signed by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, notes that while the right of every citizen to freedom of speech and political association remains sacrosanct, the administration has reiterated that it will not be swayed by political distractions or media-driven narratives.
The statement said the buzz around new political coalitions may dominate headlines, but the Tinubu led government’s priority remains rooted in the Renewed Hope agenda a vision that, just two years on, is already producing tangible results.
It counted from the significant drop in crude oil theft and revived investor confidence in the oil and gas sector, to stabilising inflation and currency, and targeted social programmes reaching households, students, artisans, and small businesses describing it as progress that is quiet but surely underway.
According ro the Minister, recent milestones underscore this commitment.
The President signed four landmark tax reform bills into law, setting the stage for one of the most sweeping fiscal transformations in Nigeria
