FG Appoints New Registrar For Dental Therapists’ Board

The Federal Government has appointed Dr Anisere Dele as the new Registrar of the Dental Therapists’ Registration Board of Nigeria (DThRBN), a regulatory body under the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
Dr Dele’s four-year tenure takes effect from 5th May 2025.
The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Iziaq Adekunle Salako, presented the letter of appointment at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.
Dr Salako commended the thorough selection process, describing Dr Dele’s appointment as the outcome of a rigorous and transparent procedure.
The Minister, expressed confidence that he will steer the Board in the right direction.
He charged the new Registrar with the urgent task of eradicating quackery and unapproved training programmes within the profession.
Dr Salako, while wishing him a successful tenure, urged Dr Dele to draw on his experience and professional network to elevate the standards and credibility of dental therapy practice in Nigeria.
