Nigeria’s Information Minister Leads Delegation To Global Broadcasters’ Conference In Las Vegas

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, is leading a high-powered delegation of heads of key media agencies to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference in Las Vegas, USA.
The global conference with the theme “The Technology, The Trend, The Future,” running from April 5 to 9 drew thousands of industry leaders and innovators.
Discussions are spotlighting AI, cloud visualisation, the creator economy, and sports production and streaming.
The Nigerian team includes top media executives: NTA’s DG, Comrade Salihu Dembos; NAN’s MD, Mr. Ali Ali; NBC’s DG, Charles Ebuebu; ARCON’s DG, Dr. Lekan Fadolapo; and VON’s DG, Mallam Jibrin Ndace.
The Minister said the visit offers a golden opportunity to forge international partnerships, boost training and content-sharing, and equip Nigeria’s broadcast industry with cutting-edge innovations to stay competitive in the global media landscape.
