NAF Targets Terrorists’ Hideouts In Major Air Raids Across North-East, North-West

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has delivered a series of decisive airstrikes on terrorist enclaves in Chiralia, Grazah, Yuwe, and Zango Hill, dealing a major blow to insurgents and bandits operating in the North-East and North-West.

Between March 17 and 19, 2025, precision airstrikes under Operations Hadin Kai and Hadarin Daji targeted fortified camps deep in the Timbuktu Triangle, Mandara Mountains, Sambisa Forest, and Kankara axis of Katsina State. Dozens of fighters were neutralized, and critical infrastructure used for logistics and planning was wiped out.

At Chiralia, NAF jets decimated terrorist hideouts notorious for launching highway ambushes, while follow-up strikes pursued fleeing militants. In Grazah and Yuwe, extremist leaders indoctrinating recruits were eliminated as fighter jets rained bombs on key strongholds.

In Katsina’s Zango Hill, NAF aircraft and helicopters provided lethal air support to ground troops, dislodging armed bandits entrenched in rugged terrain. The coordinated assault left several criminals dead and their camps in ruins.

The NAF says the operations have severely degraded terrorist networks and vows to sustain the momentum until peace is fully restored.
