The Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, has reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force, NAF’s unwavering commitment to national security, declaring that the Air Force will hunt down and eliminate all threats to peace in the country.

Speaking at the NAF Administration and Personnel Management Seminar in Abuja, Air Marshal Abubakar emphasised that NAF’s strategic use of airpower will ensure that criminals, even in ungoverned spaces, have nowhere to hide.

“We will find, fix, and strike all those who take arms against the State, and we will not relent until Nigeria is safe for all,” he vowed.

He also stressed that effective administration and personnel management are critical to military success, highlighting the need for modernised Human Resource Management (HRM), digitalised record-keeping, and enhanced training.

Under his leadership, NAF has expanded significantly, with over 2,972 personnel benefiting from new or renovated housing and 601 undergoing specialised training to improve leadership and management skills.

The two-day seminar, themed “Optimising Contemporary Human Resource Techniques to Enhance Ongoing Transformation Initiatives of the NAF,” brings together key stakeholders, including experts from the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

As discussions unfold, the event is expected to shape strategies for building a highly skilled and motivated workforce, ensuring that NAF remains at the forefront of protecting Nigeria and its citizens.
