The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended warm greetings to citizens, particularly Christians, as the nation joins the global celebration of Christmas.
Describing the occasion as a profound symbol of God’s boundless love and the fulfillment of divine prophecy, the APC emphasised the deeper essence of Christmas: compassion, unity, mercy, and selflessness.
The party highlighted the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, urging Nigerians to embrace the spirit of the season by extending love and kindness to their neighbors, particularly the less privileged.
“Christmas teaches us about God’s infinite capacity to achieve the impossible and to bring hope and light even in the most challenging times,” the APC noted in its statement.
In the face of prevailing challenges, the party encouraged Nigerians to use the festive period to reflect on their shared humanity and pray for peace, unity, and progress in the coming year.
The statement, signed by the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, concluded with a call for collective action to build a better Nigeria. “Let us embrace the virtues of Christmas and work together for a prosperous future.”
As Nigerians celebrate this joyous occasion, the APC’s message serves as a reminder of the values that unite the nation, offering hope and inspiration for brighter days ahead.
