The National Assembly Service Commission has appointed Mrs Vivian Nonyelum Njemanze as Deputy Clerk of the House of Representatives.
Mrs Njemanze has over 30years of Legislative experience and had attained GL17 (consolidated) in the public service.
She holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Abuja and a Fellow of the Institute of Budget Management.
Mrs Njemanze comes with a wealth of experience as a former under-secretary to the Constitutional Conference (1994-1995), former Special Assistant to the Minister of Information (1996-1998), former Clerk Senate Committees on Environment &Ecology, Science & Tech, Information & Tourism, and Defence.
She was also Head of the Legislative Scrutiny Unit in the Senate and held the post of Director of Policy & Programmes in the Senate before her recent appointment/elevation as Deputy Clerk House of Representatives.
Her appointment has elicited a lot of excitement and optimism in the National Assembly given her experience, track record and sense of commitment to duty.
