The Sister in-law to Late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Princess Faith Gilbert and other dignitaries have showered praises on Late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu on the good legacies he left on the earth.
Speaking on Tuesday after the service of song held in honour of Chief Iwuanyanwu at the Cathedral of transfiguration CATOL in Owerri, Princess Faith Gilbert, the sister in-law of late Chief Iwuanyanwu said he left a huge legacy behind which will be difficult to fill. ‘ I was five years old when he took me and my younger brother and trained us from primary school to secondary level and trained us in American Universities” she stated.
Princess Gilbert said Iwuanyanwu was a father to all and extended the love he had for his late wife Eudora Iwuanyanwu to their village people, kindred, friends, and her associates.” His legacies are the ones that cannot be easily emulated. I am who I am today because of him. He will forever be remembered” she noted.
His personal accountant, Deacon Godson Asinogwo said late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu will be remembered for his philanthropy, meekness, kindness, large heart and his love for his people, adding that he knew his calling which was to give hope to the hopeless. Millions of Nigerians benefitted from his scholarship schemes, and other philanthropic gestures.
Hon. Joel Ihe one of Iwuanyanwu’s helms men said Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu was a colossus, an elder statesman, an industrialist , politically cum professional icon known globally.
Earlier in her tribute, the Deputy Governor of Imo state, Her Excellency Lady Chinyere Ekomaru described Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu as jerk of all trade and master of all.
