Palestine Envoy Laments As More Palestinians Die On Gaza Strip

The Palestine Envoy to Nigeria, Abdulah Shawesh, is lamenting the increasing cases of infectious diseases currently ravaging his homeland owing to the closure of hospitals and health care centers.
The envoy who brought his grieviances to limelight during his weekly interaction with journalists in Abuja, stressed that if this is not addressed, it could generate to health crisis and called on Israeli government to recognize the rights of Palestinians for the purposes of peace in both countries.
Ambassador Shawesh, who further expressed dismay that the Israelis have constantly portrayed themselves as above international law, by persisting on their intentions and denying Palestinians access to humanitarianism aids, called on the United States government to stop its support for Israel which he said, would tackle the unjustifiable killings of civilians.
He noted that guaranteeing the safety of everyone is paramount to all-round protection especially as the Israeli occupation still denies Palestinians access to humanitarian aid despite efforts to rescue victims of the genocidal attack.
The Palestinian Ambassador gave the number of dead Palestinians as 30,717 and the injured at 72,156 as at 6th March, 2024.
