Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tuggar, Calls For Collective Action As Nigerians Celebrate 63rd Independence

As Nigerians mark the 63rd Independence anniversary of the country, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, has called on Nigerians to keep faith with President Tinubu’s administration as he steers the country towards entrenchment of democracy and sustainable development.
Ambassador Tuggar, who made the call while felicititating with President Tinubu and the citizenry on the celebration, also called on Nigerians to use the occasion to reflect on the steady progress being made and see themselves as critical stakeholders of the Nigerian Project and rally support for the attainment of Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Minister, also reiterated the commitment of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensuring the successful realization of President Tinubu’s 4D strategy.
According to him, the 4D strategy also known as the Tinubu Doctrine pivots on four pillars, Democracy: fostering political stability, Development -catalyzing economic prosperity, Diaspora: nurturing a global Nigerian community; and demography, harnessing the power of a youthful nation.
He further urged Nigerians to eschew hate and divisiveness that can undermine the country’s unity and progress and pursue nation-building as a collective responsibility, for all well-meaning Nigerians.
A statement by the Special Assistant On Media and Communications Strategy to the Minister, Alkasim Abdulkadir, enjoined Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to partner with government in strengthening the resolve to build a sustainable prosperous nation that Nigerians irrespective of their socio-cultural and political leanings would be proud of.
