Eid al Maulud: Foreign Affairs Minister, Tuggar, Advocates Global PeaceÂ

As Muslims celebrate Eid al Maulud, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, has called for global peace and harmony as they celebrate.
He enjoined the Muslim Ummah to embrace the noble and exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad SAW (Peace Be Upon Him) in their daily lives, while praying for peace and security in Nigeria, and in the ECOWAS subregion and other parts of the world going through conflicts and strife.
The Minister also called on all to imbibe tolerance, love, and compassion, saying that lessons from the life of Prophet Muhammad is one of the inspirations to be pious and humane.
According to the Minister, Prophet Muhammad’s dedication to love, compassion, humility, and teaching tolerance are needed in these times.
A statement signed by the Special Assistant on Media and Communications Strategy to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alkasim Abdulkadir, said the Minister prayed that the occasion of Eid al Maulud bring our country Nigeria and the entire world peace and tranquillity while wishing Muslims all over the world a joyful celebration and wonderful celebration.
