The federal government of Nigeria has signed an memorandum of understanding with the Cuban Government with a promise that it will ensure the implementation of the bilateral agreement commence in earnest.
The Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, stated this during a summit in Republic of Cuba.
The Minister had, during the summit, met with the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment of the Republic of Cuba on the need for the two countries to consolidate their bilateral relationship, where, they each signed on behalf of their countries respectively.
Chief Nnaji, commended President Bola Tinubu for his good leadership that led to the signing of the MOU with Cuba.
The Minister was among the national delegation led by the Vice president, Kashim Shetima to the Summit, hosted by the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel.
A statement signed by the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, Atuora Obed, the delegation paid a courtesy visit on the Vice president of the Republic of Cuba during the summit.
